THE ADMISSION PROCESS...AT A GLANCE!
After submitting your application, two Editors of the Admissions Committee will evaluate your CV and consequently, the Editorial Office Manager will inform you whether you are eligible for the interview or not. Thus, the admission process consists of two separate interviews (vis-à-vis or virtual vis-à-vis): in the first interview our Recruitment Editors will evaluate you on the basis of your Academic background, proficiency in english and general knowledge of our Journal (e.g. organisation, editorial policies, quality and ethic publication code). The second interview, with our Diversity and Development Team, will have a broader scope and will determine your compatibility with the mission of the Review: your soft-skills and your aptitude for team-working in the Editorial Team will be seriously taking into account. At the end of the recruitment session, all the interviews outcomes will be ranked and you will be given formal notice of your result. The candidates who will join the Editorial Team will be the ones who have achieved the highest scores depending on the vacant places in need. If you have been admitted, you will join the Review for a trial period of 30 days. During the trial month your Supervisor Managing will evaluate your work and conduct to confirm your membership in the Editorial Team. You will be officially a member at the end of the 30 days, after the confirmation of the Managing Editor. If the outcome of your application was positive but not sufficient, you will be put on hold in case of future available places. If your outcome was below the sufficiency threshold you will receive a letter of rejection explaining the decision of the Admissions Committee. In this case you can apply only once for the same position after six months from the notification of rejection. |
